10 Things I Hated About 2012

As the year comes to an end, it becomes the time for everyone to truly reflect on the past twelve months. I, for one, have had a lot to reflect on, and I realized one major thing that really stands out. It sucked. Here are ten reasons why:
1.  The Jersey Shore. How the hell did this show last six seasons?
2."HashtagYOLO" Need I say more?
3. "Truth Is" Statuses on Facebook. Truth is you're tacky and I hate you.
4. Honey Boo Boo. This girl is hilarious, I agree. But only for a good three minutes. She's had her time to shine, but now it's time to go. Does anyone even watch her tv show anymore?
5. Did we even find Kony?
6. Let me just be the first one to say it. TOMS shoes. I absolutely hate that they've become a fashion trend. It's literally just a piece of fabric wrapped around your foot, for forty bucks. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm totally supportive of the cause, and I love what TOMS is doing with the money, but the shoes themselves are the most unnecessary trend I've ever seen.
7. I have to admit, for a while I was a fan of Gangham Style by Psy. But, now it's just too much. Did he seriously need to go on tour worldwide for that one song that a majority of the planet didn't understand? Not really. Psy, you're ten minutes of fame is long gone.
8. Fifty Shades of Grey? More like Fifty Shades of Go Home.
9. Call me crazy, but I'm not a massive fan of Katy Perry. Something about her just doesn't seem right, and no offense, but her music's not all that great either.
10. Mondays. Nothing good ever happens on a Monday, and the fact that the last day of 2012 is a Monday really sums up how this year went...

Let's just hope 2013 will be a bit better... Happy New Year!

About Me

Writing about yourself is always difficult. You don't know how to start, or how to end, and you want people to like what you have to say. And it seems that whatever you say, it's not cool enough. Well, I'm going to start off simple. My name is Maya, I'm sixteen years old, and I'm just your average teenage girl in hopes of having a blog.
I'm not the best writer in the world, so you're going to have to bear with me. I'm also horrible with graphic design and such, so I apologize in advance if my blog looks like crap.
My goal isn't to have hundreds of people reading my blog daily, or whatever. I just want to get my point across, and hopeful there will be a few listeners. I don't have a specific theme I'm going for with this blog or anything, I just plan to say what's ever on my mind (which is a lot, keep in mind).
So, yeah. That's it for now. Sorry this isn't the best introduction/about me you've ever seen, but I did warn you.
